Algonquin College is located in Ottawa, Canada’s capital city. With a population of 1.3 million, Ottawa is the fourth largest city in Canada. It offers all of the advantages of the big city, while remaining safe, clean, and easy to navigate.

Ottawa has a strong government presence, including embassies, high commissions and consulates representing countries from around the world. The nation’s capital is also home to a world-class research and development infrastructure, a high concentration of technology companies, and the head offices of many organizations.

Ottawa is known for its Rideau Canal, a busy waterway in the summer and the world’s longest skating rink in the winter.
